Our Story

Rebecca Boldt is a seasoned seamstress based in San Diego, California. As a child, she was taught to sew by her mother, Linda, and now has over 20 years of sewing experience under her belt as an adult. From daily-wear garments to historical costuming, cosplay, fit modifications, quilts, and prom dresses, Rebecca has done it all! Recently, she rekindled a professional passion for sewing when she began making custom ballet costumes in San Diego’s East County- her works have been worn onstage in productions as well as in prestigious competitions as far as YAGP Finals in Florida, and she crafts custom-fit costumes for any gender from both classical and contemporary repertoire with ease. With four children who love ballet, Rebecca knows the theater and dance world up close and personal, and thus is familiar with what exactly a costume needs to be not only beautiful onstage, but functional through hours of strenuous use and partnering.
